Public Show & Event Schedule

CPS Planetarium hosts free public planetarium shows and other community events throughout the school year. Our schedule and shows change monthly, so check back here regularly to see our most updated schedule. We hope to see you at a future show!
May Public Shows
Our last public shows of the year will be held on Saturday May 11th! Tickets to these shows are FREE, but a $5 donation per person is encouraged. Seating in the planetarium theater is limited and issued on a first come, first served basis.
April Public Shows
Visit us on Saturday April 13th for planetarium shows all about Earth! Tickets to our public planetarium shows are FREE, but a $5 donation is encouraged. Seating in the planetarium theater is limited and issued on a first come, first served basis.
March Public Shows
Visit us on Saturday March 9th for the next installment of planetarium shows! Tickets to these shows are FREE, but a $5 donation per person is encouraged. Seating in the planetarium theater is limited and issued on a first come, first served basis
February Public Shows
Join us on Saturday February 10th for our next weekend of public planetarium shows! Tickets to these shows are FREE, but a $5 donation per person is encouraged. Seating in the planetarium theater is limited and issued on a first come, first served basis.
December Public Shows
Visit us under the dome on Saturday December 9th for our next public planetarium weekend! Tickets to these shows are FREE, but a $5 donation per person is encouraged. Seating in the planetarium theater is limited and issued on a first come, first served basis.
November Public Shows
Our next public planetarium shows will be on Saturday November 11th! Tickets to these shows are FREE, but a $5 donation per person is encouraged. Seating in the planetarium theater is limited and issued on a first come, first served basis.
October Public Shows & Solar Eclipse Viewing Party
Planetarium events have returned for the 2023-2024 school year! Join us for planetarium shows, solar viewing, and more on Saturday October 14th. A partial annular eclipse will be seen in central Missouri on this day. Click to learn more!
